The port of Seville has become the most competitive option for shippers operating from the spanish central area to the Canary Islands because of shorter transit times than those achieved from the Mediterranean Sea ports and of a shorter overland distance than up to Cadiz. One of the main assets of the Container Terminal in Seville is its greater flexibility in freight reception through broader hourly admission schedules and own client trains being operated directly in the Terminal.
The incorporation of new vessels with the latest technology and imporved cruising speed has allowed us to shorten transit times, being able to reach Las Palmas and Tenerife on mondays, sailing on weekends from Seville, a fact highly appreciated by shippers.
